From fourside or multi slide to power press or in the short run manufacturing department.

Atlantic Precision Spring produces precision mini flat leaf springs from a material thickness range of 003" (.076 mm) to .125" (3.175 mm), and up to 12.00" (304.8mm) wide depending on the intricacy. The material used varies as well from plain carbon steel such as C1074 to stainless steel such as 300 series to 17-7ph to name a few. These parts are assembled in electronic applications to projects requiring constant spring forces where compression springs are not the best option.

Flat leaf springs are usually very simple to produce using a fourslide machine. The machine allows forming and bending to be done in a central location bending the entire part all at once. This usually allows all the material to be used reducing scrap costs. Being able to build tools quickly and inexpensively is something that Atlantic Precision Spring has been able to prefect over the last 50 years plus. By constantly purchasing and upgrading equipment reduces production which also reduces cost keeping Atlantic Precision Spring at the forefront of flat leaf spring manufacturing in the industry.
