Sample stampings manufactured by APS: APS can manufacture precision metal stampings, contacts and flat springs from a wide variety of materials, including: • Aluminum • High and Low Carbon Steel • Stainless Steel • Beryllium Copper • Phosphor Bronze • Brass • Nickel • Bimetals • Precious Metals • In all Grades and Tempers Power press material range: Flat strip: .003" to .125" thick and up to 12" wide Fourslide material range: Flat strip: .003" to .0625" thick and up to 2" wide Round and shaped wire: .006" to .187" diameter Special materials for contacts: APS can manufacture contacts (such as battery contacts and electrical contacts) with selective gold and silver pre-plated strips. This process will save you money over plating the entire part. Even delicate parts will not become deformed in the plating process. Reel-to-reel components are complete off the machine. APS can also utilize Bimetals for thermal contacts.
